About This Site
Over the course of Web Findability class, I have learnt various techniue which improves my website to become more findable.
One of the techniques learnt was using microformats such as hCard to provide structured content information for the search engine.

Another technique I learnt was to use tools such as Google Analytics to track user engagement and behaviour through integrating Google tags on my site. By doing so, it allows me to gain a better understanding of user interactions and refining my content to optimise user experience through strategic planning.
On the accessibility side, I have included a "skipnav" link for accessibility which allows more efficient navigation with the website smoothly including people with disability.

In addition to adding a skipnav function, I have also utilise accesibilty tools such as WAVE accessibilty checker to idenity areas of improvement and refine certain elements. Notable adjustments include optimising colour contrasts which not only enhances accessibilty but also create a postive impact in user enagagement. I have also used validation tools such as W3C checker to identify errors to ensure my site meets web standards which in turn creates a positive interaction with search engines.

Furthermore, I have ran a page load time report to analyse the website speed, ensuring smooth and prompt loading times, which is also an important factor to user enagagemnt and search engine rankings.

Finally, I included server side tools including .htaccess, .htpassword, and robot.txt files for improved security. Furthermore, I added an error404 page for users when they encounter a broken link to help them navigate back to the main websire.
